About the author
David Randall was born in Wallasey and lives in Neston. He has maintained an active historical interest since the book’s first publication, has lectured on the subject, and has contributed to the work of the Wirral Society. In the last decade he has channeled his energies into several internet-based projects and runs several music-related companies. In early 2003, his history of the Dutch rock guitarist Jan Akkerman and his band Focus was published by SAF Publishing, London.
